MG & Triumph Spares Day in Telford postponed

The MG and Triumph Spares Day is, for many, the season opener for the MG and Triumph community and is usually run at a time when many owners are deep into their restoration or general maintenance work and looking for that all-elusive spare part or tool.

The event had to be cancelled in both 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, but clubs, exhibitors and visitors alike were looking forward to another day of searching for parts gems on the 22nd January 2022. Sadly though another COVID variant arrived and the show has been postponed again. 

The organisers said, "Unfortunately due to the persistence of COVID-19 and with your wellbeing our primary concern, we have taken the decision to postpone the MG & Triumph Spares Day show until further notice. We will advise you on the new date as soon as we have it. Thanks for your understanding, stay safe." 

The TR Register had been planning a display stand at the show featuring vehicles from the local group covering Shropshire with a sizeable display covering the many eras of TR development. The TR Register will continue to support the event for its new dates as soon as they are released.
