Engine: Starts and runs well with good power. Rebuilt by Thomas Hamlin & Co in 2021, as used by Revington TR.
Fuel System: Original Lucas mechanical fuel injection system, refurbished by Prestige Injection, and tuned by Revington TR with Revington throttle linkages fitted.
Chassis: Zeibart rustproofed from new. Excellent condition with no repairs or welding. Superpro bushes fitted in all the important places including rear trailing arms.
Bodywork: Very good condition with lovely finish, and good panel fits. The lower seatbelt mounts were professionally strengthened by Barrett Bodyshop of Weston super Mare, who also carried out a full body respray in 2025. The headlamps were realigned by the MoT tester after it was noted they hadn’t been done after refitting during the respray, and the MoT was repeated for an easy PASS.
Other care: Believed to have been restored in late 1990s. The car has been well looked after by subsequent owners and has been shown at events around Somerset for many years. The current TR Register member owner has continued with minor improvements along the way whether they were needed or quite often not, with most parts from Revington TR, including a modern heater valve with smooth control and full shut off, electric fan, new indicator switch, new Mintex pads, electronic indicator flasher unit, LED instrument lamps, new battery, USB sockets hidden in dashboard ashtray, emergency bonnet release above the foot pedals, all coolant hoses replaced, spin on oil filter fitted, Speedo, Rev Counter, and Ammeter refurbished, the Speedo is very accurate having been calibrated by Speedy Cables using GPS data, high torque starter motor, new brake master cylinder and servo, new brake drums, cylinders, adjusters and shoes, and routine servicing including oil, coolant, and brake fluid changes, fuel filter, and all the usual service items.
